Privacy Policy, Terms of Service & End-User Licence Agreement

This page covers three documents for Hazard Garage Software (the “Service”), a workshop / garage management application provided by Hazard (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the websites hazard.co.id and hazard.software. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to the Terms of Service and EULA below and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Hazard provides Hazard Garage Software. For privacy questions, contact [email protected]. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may contact your local data protection authority (for Indonesia, the relevant authority under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection).

2. The data we collect

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health, religion or political views). Please do not enter such data into free-text fields.

3. How we collect it

• Directly — when you sign up, are invited to a Workshop, or use the app.
• Automatically — through server logs and standard app telemetry needed for security and reliability.
• From your Workshop — if an administrator invites you or enters data about you.

4. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service and your Workshop.
• To authenticate you by sending one-time passcodes (OTP) to your WhatsApp number or email.
• To send service messages: invitations, security alerts and account notices.
• To manage subscriptions, billing and support.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

5. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

• Email delivery — SMTP2GO, to send system emails (e.g. login codes, invitations).
• WhatsApp messaging — our messaging gateway, to deliver login codes and notices to your WhatsApp number.
• Hosting & infrastructure — the servers that host the Service.
• Payment / subscription — our payment or subscription provider, where applicable.
• Advertising (mobile app) — Google AdMob/AdSense may serve ads in the mobile app; see “Advertising”.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

6. Advertising

The mobile app may display advertising provided by Google (AdMob/AdSense). Google may use device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google’s own privacy policy. Our authorised digital sellers are declared in our app-ads.txt file.

7. Data retention

• We keep your Workshop account and data for as long as your subscription is active.
• Inactivity deletion: if a subscription lapses (you unsubscribe or it expires) and the Workshop has no activity for 12 consecutive months, we will notify the Workshop administrator(s) by WhatsApp and/or email at least 30 days before permanently deleting the Workshop and all of its data. Any activity or resubscription before the deletion date cancels the deletion.
• Deleting a Workshop permanently removes all of its data — customers, vehicles, documents, payments, stock and staff accounts. Deletion is permanent and we do not retain backups of deleted Workshops.
• One-time login codes are stored only briefly (about 10 minutes) and then expire.
• We may keep limited records where required for legal, tax or accounting purposes.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including passwordless one-time-code login, tenant isolation between Workshops, role-based access controls, and encrypted transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Workshop administrators can edit or delete most data directly in the app. To make a request, email [email protected]; we aim to respond within 30 days.

10. International transfers & hosting

The Service is hosted on servers that may be located outside your country. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notified to Workshop administrators.

Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Hazard Garage Software. If you use the Service on behalf of a Workshop, you confirm you are authorised to bind that Workshop to these Terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate sign-up information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for your Workshop’s users. The first user who creates a Workshop becomes its administrator and may invite or remove other users.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully or to store unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to breach security, access other Workshops’ data, or disrupt the Service.
• Do not resell, sublicense or misrepresent the Service.
• You are responsible for obtaining any consents needed from your own customers for data you enter.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring (e.g. monthly) basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If your subscription lapses, your data is subject to the Data retention policy above, including possible deletion after prolonged inactivity.

5. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your Workshop at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and data may be deleted as described above.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for keeping your own records and for the accuracy of data you enter.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hazard is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

End-User Licence Agreement (EULA)

1. Licence

Subject to these terms, Hazard grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Hazard Garage Software application for your internal business purposes.

2. Restrictions

• Do not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Service.
• Do not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
• Do not remove proprietary notices or use our branding without permission.

3. Ownership

The Service, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by Hazard and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the data you enter; you grant us the rights needed to host and process it to provide the Service.

4. Updates

We may update or change the application from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued use.

5. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach it or stop using the Service. On termination you must stop using the application.
